Sounds like you've got some awesome reads coming up! I love To Kill a Mockingbird. (My funny TKAM story -- I have a friend who used to think it was called To Mock a Killingbird... which is probably not a good idea. :P)
ReplyDeleteWonderful book haul this week. It sounds like you gained a ton of wonderful and haunting novels and I'm jealous like crazy.

@Annette I LOVE Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie. I think it's hilarious!!! It reminds me of John Green and Jordan Sonnenblick books.

Great set of books! I wasn't a big fan of The Forest of Hands and Teeth, but my students love it. And I'll be teaching To Kill a Mockingbird this spring; it's a great way to end the school year :)

@Sarah @ Y.A. Love Even though you didn't love The Forest of Hands and Teeth I'd recommend giving The Dead-Tossed Waves a try. It's my fav of the three and the audiobook is AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteYou got rea;;y good books. I can't wait to read Wither, and I must say the Vampire Kisses is my gulty pleasure. Have fun reading them!
ReplyDeleteMy Borders has those editions of The Forest of Hands and Teeth too! I thought it was so strange, but cool! I also took part in some Books-A-Million awesome this week, though I'd like to go back or check the other one nearby to see what else I can find. I was rushed when I was shopping there so I didn't get to look as much as I'd have liked. Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteBorders must have gotten tons of The Forest of Hands and Teeth UK editions! I got one at my Walden Books. It is in my IMM post too! I want to try and get to a BooksAMillion soon!! Great deals!
